A giant leiomyoma of the breast

Breast leiomyoma is a rare benign tumor arising from the nipple and/or areola or smooth muscle metaplasia of myoepithelial myofibroblast cells. Despite its morphology, breast can create diagnostic confusion. Here, we report case single in 52-year-old woman. The patient reported lump her right for 1 year, and past 6 months, it has grown size. Physical examination showed dense mass breast, without axillary lymphadenomegaly. Excisional biopsy revealed well-defined cell by intertwining spindle folds with fibrillar eosinophilic cytoplasm. Histopathological immunohistochemical studies help to discriminate between other malignant lesions. Her results are discussed our report.
